Bikesharing Returns to UB
Photos taken by Jenna Maul
After a long hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, bikes are now available again for students, faculty and staff at the University at Buffalo North and South campuses.
The program, dubbed UB Bikeshare, is powered by Reddy Bikeshare, meaning the same team and staff that operates Reddy bikes in the cities of Buffalo and Niagara Falls, are who makes the wheels keep turning at UB.
The perk to students and staff is that a UB Pass subscription also means you have access to Reddy bikes in Buffalo and Niagara Falls!
For new members:
Download the Social Bicycles app or click here to sign up directly
Choose the “UB Pass” with a cost of $10/year and $2/hr to ride
Complete your registration using your buffalo.edu email address. You must confirm your email address is valid before you reserve a bike.
For returning members:
Log in to your Social Bicycles account online or through your app
Navigate to "‘Memberships’ and then ‘Resubscribe’
For help, you can contact info@reddybikeshare.com or call 716-407-7474.
Welcome Back to UB!
We’re excited to keep you moving this semester.
