Get Reddy For More Wellness Challenges in 2024
The Reddy Team, in partnership with Independent Health is excited to return the 100-Mile Challenge and add a new Bike-Month-Themed Challenge to fuel more active living by Western New Yorkers.
Reddy Bikeshare and Independent Health introduced the first-ever 100-Mile Challenge last year. Throughout the Spring and Summer, a total of 66 users achieved the challenge and earned a special rider credit, as well as an invite to our end-of-season party at the Buffalo History Museum, Biketober Bash. At the event, we revealed the leaderboard of who pedaled the most miles on Reddy and present grand prizes to the top ten, courtesy of Independent Health. Expect more of the same this year.
This year, we’re repeating that same formula:
Any user who logs more than 100 miles through the end of the summer (Sept. 21), will earn $10 riding credit
They’ll also earn a special invite to our next Biketober Bash Party, (Date and location is TBD)
Users who make reach to our top ten leaderboard earn a special prize pack, courtesy of Independent Health.
New this year, we’re adding another wellness contest in conjunction with GObike’s Bike Month, presented by Independent Health.
The Reddy Team, in partnership with Independent Health, is awarding rider credits and a grand prize to users that diversify their trips during National Bike Month. Folks who unlock a Reddy Bike at 10 different stations throughout the month will earn a $10 riding credit at the end and be entered into a raffle to win a pair of tickets for the upcoming 10th Annual Skyride, July 21, at Lakeside Bike Park. Every additional station after 10 will earn the user a higher weight in the raffle.
Here’s the rules:
User must unlock and start a trip at a station for it to count. Ending a trip a station does not count to the tally.
Users who earn the credit will be emailed, as well as the user who wins the raffle prize.
Only trips logged between May 1 and May 31 are eligible.
Independent Health is hosting its own' Bike Month-themed contest in May as well with even bigger prizes
Independent Health is requesting short essays on why WNY loves to bike. Grand prize is a $200 gift card to Dick’s Sporting Goods as well as two (2) complimentary SkyRide registrations and two (2) bike helmets! Read more and submit a story to the Bike Month Contest by visiting their Website.
