Beats and Bites at Broderick Park

“Friends of Broderick Park/Underground Railroad would like for people to understand the historical significance of this beautiful park. We’re standing on secret grounds where our enslaved people crossed to Canada to become free. When you visit the park, go inside the Underground Railroad Museum next to the concession stand. Please make this part of your destination as you celebrate during the year. The Foot of Ferry is not just a fisherman’s park, it’s a community gathering space.”

This summer, Reddy Bikeshare joined the Friends of Broderick Park along with dozens of other community organizations including Buffalo United Front, East Side Bike Club, GObike Buffalo, Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper, Delevan-Grider Community Center, and so many more working to make Buffalo a better place to live for everyone.

We’re honored to join them and be a part of this community. Collaboration helps to further our goal to promote healthy and active lifestyles and incentivize pedal-powered transportation.

In partnership with Independent Health, we are distributing $5 Annual Passes ($55 value!), helmets, RFID member cards for easy access to our bikes, cell phone wallets to store your RFID card, and shades 😎!
